Kate Middleton News: Sexist Remarks From Daily Mail Gets Mixed Reactions
The recent remarks from Daily Mail has attracted a good amount of backlash from people all around. The UK newspaper has been blamed for cruel and unfair comments made by it on the Duchess of Cambridge.
According to Stuff.co.nz, the pictures that were published by the newspaper of Kate Middleton has been said to be unflattering and comment “feeling the strain of Christmas” has not been taken in a good sense. Critics all around were against by the remarks made on her hairstyle which were described scraped and her eyes were lined and puffy.
The column for Daily Mail was written by Sarah Vine in which Middleton was described to be taken over by the duties of social appearances and the responsibility of taking care of two kids. In the post, it was reported that Middleton had gone out for shopping and was alone and that she was looking quite tired.
The reason for her tired look was blamed for her recent appearances at public events where she has to look and perform her best, regardless of what, moreover, she has two little kids and who also ask a good amount of time from her.
According to The Guardian, the columnist tried to save herself from the comments made by her by stating that she is not there to find faults in her. It was some of the online reviews that she received made her write so Middleton was described that she was looking a woman in her forties.
Readers of the newspaper blamed that the report was sexist and such reports make women feel conscious about them. One person even asked that Kate Middleton should be left alone, as she is a human being, after all.
