Katy Perry Makes Most of ‘Prismatic World Tour’ with Surprise Visit to Hobart [WATCH VIDEO]

Looks like Katy Perry’s dead set on making her Prismatic 2014 Word Tour a sparkling and colorful whirlwind to remember.

The “Dark Horse” singer paid a surprise visit to Hobart, the capital of Australia’s island state of Tasmania on Dec. 8, 2014. Report has it that Katy’s visit was supposed to be secret before fans got wind of it and blew it out in the open.

Fortunately, the pop star managed to steer clear of the limelight while enjoying a dinner out with guests at Salamanca Place. Who’s betting the restaurant gets mobbed by fans and the curious for a long time afterwards?

Onlookers on the scene stayed to take photos and videos, but fortunately for it being a Monday, no massive crowd gathered to spoil Katy’s dinner.

"I had to stop myself from crying, I'm a massive, massive Katy Perry fan, she's my biggest inspiration in life and I love her to bits," one fan gushed, as published on ABC. "It was one of the best moments I had in my whole life, I will never forget it, it was amazing."

According to sources who were around during the Salamanca dinner in Hobart, the American singer-songwriter, who has five MTV Music awards to her name, was very approachable, consenting to have photos taken with fans and even greeting them warmly.

Looks like Katy’s Prismatic World Tour 2014 is turning out to be a success. It is one of the biggest pop tours in Australia this year, chasing her album “Prism’s” four-time platinum sales, with more than 300,000 tickets sold in the country. It looks as if this is Perry’s biggest audience to date.

Katy will be heading over to Melbourne on Dec. 10, 2014 to play the Rod Laver Arena, and then to New South Wales two days later to an already sold-out Allphones Arena, where she will continue wearing her tour uniform of sparkly costumes.

Apparently, all that glitters in Katy’s life is now gold. The singer plans to make the most of Australian summers on the beaches down under, as well as go biking in the picturesque 23 cities she’ll be performing in on this tour.
