After her ‘Cautionary Christmas Tale’ special, Kelly is now ready to head down south for a guest stint on ABC’s hit show ‘Nashville.’

It’s really been a great year for Kelly Clarkson. She married Brandon Blackstock, got pregnant, hosted her own NBC Christmas special – and now, she will head to ABC’s Nashville for a guest-stint.

It seems like folks at the Nashville have been much impressed by Kelly’s well-received stint on “The Crazy Ones,” as the singer is set to appear during this season’s eleventh episode in January, TVLine reports.

“As you recall, one of the most popular songs of last season is a song that Gunnar [Sam Palladio] and Scarlett [Clare Bowen] wrote – ‘Fade Into You.’ And in fact, in real life, [Kelly is] actually cutting that song.” Nashville boss Dee Johnson said.

Nashville has always featured amazing country talent, but Kelly being special, is sure to stun at ABC’s hit show.

We have to appreciate Kelly for taking on all those things right after her wedding, and with that baby on the way! “I’m super excited about being pregnant, I’m just looking forward to the second trimester — they say it’s better!” Kelly said earlier. We hope she’ll be over her first trimester blues by the time she shoots Nashville, after all pregnancy life is not that easy.

Nashville season 2 is set to air in January 2014.
