‘Kick-Ass” Chloe Moretz Looks to ‘Hunger Games’
The best part of Kick Ass, Chloe Moretz, has been named as a favorite to win the lead role in the upcoming film adaptation of Suzanne Collins’s anticipated Hunger Games series.
Moretz, who played the controversial Hit Girl in the comic book film last year, is said to have surpassed shortlisted actresses Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning to play Katniss Everdeen, a teenager fighting against a dystopian government.
“I really, really want to be in it,” says Moretz. “I would so, so, so, so, so love to be in this film. It would be such an honor to be in it.”
The Hunger Games, written by Collins and Flightplan writer Billy Ray, is expected to begin production sometime in 2011.
