The Kim Kardashian and Kanye West wedding gala that began with partying in Versailles palace has stepped forward to an 800-year-old Irish castle. The newly married Mr. and Mrs. West reportedly checked into Castlemartyr Resort after landing their private jet at Cork airport. Read on to know more about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s honeymoon in Ireland following their wedding at Forte Di Belvedere in Florence, Italy.

The celebrity couple is supposed to be honeymooning at the Cork hotel in Ireland without daughter North West, who has allegedly returned to the U.S. with Kim’s mother Kris Jenner. Their five-day luxury honeymoon follows their much-hyped wedding which began in Paris with a rehearsal dinner at the Palace of Versailles.

The hotel Web site states that the suite, which could be costing the newlyweds about £40,000 or more has a breathtaking view of the 12th century castle, including its beautiful gardens. It also has a separate sitting room, dining room, anteroom and an elevator for meals delivered directly from the kitchen below it. Click HERE to see images of hotel.

On its Facebook page, the Castlemartyr Resort states it opened in August 2007 and is considered one of the best luxury resorts in the country, and possibly, even the whole Europe. The resort lies next to the ruins of the 800-year-old castle Strongbow Castle built by the Knights Templar. The Castlemartyr Resort also features a gym, nine-room spa treatment facility with pool, vitality room, sauna and steam room.

Ireland Tourism officials are aspiring to cash in on the news of one of the world’s most celebrated couples honeymooning in the country.

“We’re working hard to produce a guide for their fans about where they are, or rather where they might be,” ‘We’d love to be able to give their millions of followers the information so maybe they can follow in their footsteps. It’s a global story,” stated Tourism Ireland’s Central Marketing Director Mark Henry on The Drum, which was published on Travel Pulse.

“A big welcome to Ireland @KimKardashian and @kanyewest from all of us at @TourismIreland – we’re working to improve the weather right now…” posted Mr. Henry on his Twitter account On the newly married Mr. and Mrs. West’s  arrival news.

Tourism Ireland has planned to run profitable marketing target by using a guide of places to visit to connect with couple’s huge fan following.

“Tourism Ireland to publish guide to Kim and Kanye’s honeymoon  via @travelmail – and here it is …,” tweeted Henry on May 27, 2014.

It seems he will keep fans posted about the Kim and Kanye honeymoon details.
