Kpop: f(x) ‘4 Walls’ Tear-Jerking Win At M! Countdown; f(x) and Pet Shop Boys Join Hands!
Kpop girl group under label SM Entertainment f(x) has won netizens hearts all over again! The “4 Walls” win at M! Countdown got all 4 girl f(x) members in tears. It is a huge comeback for them since Sulli’s departure.
Kpop electropop band f(x) currently consists of 4 band members, which includes Victoria, Amber, Luna and Krystal. They are risk-takers when it comes to music and are known for their choice of experimental fashion and their eclectic, electropop sound.
“4 Walls,” their fourth full-length album after a hiatus due to Sulli’s exit, has grabbed a win at M! Countdown just week after launch. According to HNGN, it was a difficult trial period all the four f(x) band members.
The report further describes the winning moment for the K-pop band f(x) as, “Feeling the love of their fans and their sacrifices paid off, Krystal and Luna shed tears during the awarding. Leader Victoria stayed collected and thanked the fans. Amber was about to burst into tears but did her best to keep on singing.”
Also, f(x) and the Pet Shop Boys have announced a collaborative performance.
“4 Walls” has already gained a huge popularity after CD and digital download release on Oct. 27, 2015, by SM Entertainment and KT Music. Billboard is all praises for f(x) “4 Walls.” It has praised f(x) band members as “underrated-yet-extremely-consistent quintet.”
For “4 Walls” it writes, “Throughout the 10-track set, the ladies step up more than ever: for example, Amber’s raps are way tighter, Luna’s vocals feel extra powerful and Krystal’s unique timbre blends with the others for their undeviating signature color. Plus, the emphasis on the house and trendy dance music lets the production do an equal amount of talking.”
“4 Walls” is currently ranked at #1 at US Billboard and Gaon (South Korean Albums). It is reported that current Gaon physical sale is 65,933+ and that of Oricon is 2,887+.
