Kristen Stewart Denies Being Lesbian Or Bisexual; Believes In Gender Fluidity Like Miley Cyrus
Kristen Stewart opens up about her sexuality in the latest issue of NYLON magazine for the very first time. The 25-year-old actress had already addressed speculation about her sexuality by saying she does not want to categorize herself as either gay or straight.
Stewart has been in the news lately as she was rumored to be in a serious relationship with visual effects producer Alicia Cargile. They were regularly photographed together for months now after her split from her “Twilight” co star Robert Pattinson, but no one from each of their parties have confirmed or denied a romance.
Now, because of these recent rumors, people are now interested in Stewart’s real status when it comes to her romantic life, but she remains mum over this and avoids discussing it when people ask her.
But, when she was questioned on her sexuality with America’s NYLON magazine, the “Twilight” actress stated that she had no plan to “come out.”
Stewart simply stated that she’s not hiding anything.
“Google me, I’m not hiding.”
She also added in her interview that if people feel like they really want to define themselves, and they can express those parameters, then do it. She even stated that she don’t feel like it would be true for her if she would be like ‘“I’m coming out!”’
On the other hand, though, Stewart continuously shakes her head when it comes to categorizing her sexuality, she believes in fluidity, the kind that encouraged Miley Cyrus to say in her Paper magazine interview that she is literally open to every single thing that is consenting.
In return, Stewart thought that it won’t take long to make a lot of people who don’t think it’s necessary to figure out if you’re gay or straight—she even added ‘“It’s like, just do your thing.”’
Stewart also admitted with NYLON that during her early “Twilight” years, she didn’t have her boundaries figured out—not sexually, but with the press. Back then, she said, whenever she’s faced with a tough question, she would either get pissed off or all of a sudden be thrown, but now, she told the magazine that she found her own way of responding.
“I’ve worked really hard at feeling free and open while not selling it, or helping someone else sell it.”Advertisement
Kristen Stewart’s NYLON magazine cover issue will be released this coming September.
