Kristen Stewart Keen To Become A Rockstar, But Not Returning To Possible ‘Twilight’ Reboot

“Twilight” star Kristen Stewart has been exploring her musical side recently, and might even become a rockstar. But the 25-year-old actress is not going to return to any possible reboots of the “Twilight” franchise. Read on to find out more.

Speaking to long-time friend Suzie Riemer for Nylon’s ‘carversations’ series of interviews, Stewart had this to say about her musical passions:  “I’ve always really liked playing guitar and stuff, but I’ve really started playing music a lot [this past year]. That’s always been intimidating for me.”

Stewart also spoke about the difficulty in changing career tracks, saying, “If you’re good at one thing and from a young age…… It’s hard to step out of that and explore other things because you’re like, ‘No, that’s what I do.”

Stewart previously reprised the role of rock-icon Joan Jett in “The Runaways” to great acclaim, and she even recorded songs for the movie in a studio. So, while Stewart herself might be intimidated, her fans remain confident in her abilities to deliver a rocking album.

In a separate interview with Uproxx, Stewart also confirmed that she had no interest in returning to a “Twilight” reboot, saying that though she loved doing it, she would not necessarily want to keep doing it.

Stewart stars with “The Social Network” actor Jesse Eisenberg in her new film, “American Ultra,” to be released this weekend. The movie is a action-comedy, starring Eisenberg as a stoner who is a highly trained secret government agent. Stewart had to learn to fight for the film, and now reportedly shows off her stunt rolls at parties. The leggy beauty was recently spotted at the premiere with “Twilight” co-star, Taylor Lautner.
