Kristen Stewart Starred In The Untitled Movie Based On Lizzie Borden The Accused Of 1892 Axe Murders
“Twilight” fame Kristen Stewart and “Boys Don’t Cry” star Chloë Sevigny are speculated to star in the movies based on the Lizzie Borden, the infamous accused of 1892 axe murders. The psychological thriller is in talks right now and Sevigny is said to play the lead role in the flick. According to Variety, the movie will be directed by “Dirty Mind” Flemish director Pieter Van Hees. The movie remains untitled as of now and the screenplay is done by Bryce Kass.
The movie based on Borden will feature 40-year-old Sevigny in the lead role. She was proposed for the same role by Tom Hanks for an HBO miniseries long back, but it did not happen later for some unknown reason. This time the “Melinda and Melinda” actress is sure to play the accused of 1892 murders.
Stewart will be starred as Bridget Sullivan. She is the live-in maid of Borden family who was at home when the murders happened. Bridget Sullivan was called Maggi by Lizzie Borden in real.
The actual story is about Lizzie Borden who is accused of the whole incident. She was tried and acquitted for the murders of her father and step-mother. This being an infamous case in the history of US has drawn the attention of many filmmakers earlier too.
Christina Ricci adapted the story and made a television movie out of it in 2014 “Lizzie Borden Took an Ax” also indicating the famous rhyme based on the incident.
Kristen Stewart is already a popular name roped in the movie. She has starred in many movies like “Twilight” series, “Equals”, “Still Alice” and many more.
