Lady Gaga to Host ‘Saturday Night Live’, Don’t Miss It
Access Hollywood reports that Mother Monster Lady Gaga will host and serve as the musical guest on “Saturday Night Live”.
They caught the 27-year-old singer at the H&M Times Square grand opening on Thursday, where she told Access about her weekend’s performance.
“I actually told them to push it. I told them to have a good time and not be worried about me being offended or not liking anything. So they really went for it,” Gaga said.
She continued and told about her long-time preparations for the show.
“I’ve been waiting for this moment my whole life. I’ve been rehearsing my ‘SNL’ hosting performance since I was 4, so I’m OK.”
“Everyone is so funny and so nice, so it’s been fantastic!” she added.
And there’s more to it, details after the jump.
Recently, the head writer for Saturday Night Live, Seth Myers, appeared on “Live with Kelly and Michael” and told them that the show would poke fun at the mayor this weekend.
“We’re hoping that by Saturday Rob Ford, the Toronto mayor, is still a story,” Meyers said. “When a mayor of a major city does crack…” he added.
Rob Ford has been making headlines with his shocking statements. He has been a mainstay on Jon Stewart’s Daily Show after he publicly admitted to having smoked crack cocaine, and then he offended many people on Thursday when he used crude language about oral sex.
With all this going around, Saturday Night Live has planned to take aim at Rob Ford on this week’s upcoming episode, which will be hosted by Lady Gaga. Let’s see what they have to say about it. However, Gaga has already said that anything could happen!
