Lady Gaga Shares Her Emotional Battle She Went Through After Being Raped
Irony is inseparable from life, but when an A-lister celebrity like Lady Gaga meets a paradox, it gives enough reason to make it to the headlines. “Til It Happens to You” singer admits some bitter truth of her life that acted as a life changing force for the singing sensation.
Lady Gaga, who has voiced a significant effort by recording a song for “The Hunting Ground”, a documentary on campus rape, has allegedly experienced sexual abuse while a teenager. Being candid, the 29 years old singing diva has revealed the darker side of her life that revolved around her own combat after being raped at her early age. Back in 2014, during a noteworthy appearance on “The Howard Stern Show” Gaga has exposed the truth for the first time ever. But in that show the brave heart was heard commenting that post a strong combat she made sure that the experience would never define her.
However, now an emotional part of the story has come up as iconic singer steps ahead and articulates about her past occurrence as a victim of sexual assault. She confessed the fact of hiding the sensitive matter for almost 7 years as she was not sure to talk on that issue. In an intensely personal way, the “Born This Way” singer pronounces that the experience was so shattering that she didn’t know whom to blame. She had even begun to blame herself for the predicament. Lady Gaga clearly stated that the singular episode has transformed her body, her ideology and her thoughts. While explaining it in detail, Gaga commented that the trauma may not leave immediate physical scars, but in the long run, it invokes a sense of physical distress in the body.
Notably, the song “Til It Happens To You,” was made for a documentary and was written by Lady Gaga and legendary songwriter Diane Warren.
