‘Leatherface’ First Poster: It All Started With Horror
As we all know that a new film titled “Leatherface” under “The Texas Chain Saw Massacre” franchise will soon be hitting the theaters, its recently released poster has created a remarkable enthusiasm among the lovers of horror movies. Read on.
The recently online released poster of the eighth installment put some light on the horror part of the movie. It has been revealed that the story of the Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury-directed film will focus on the circumstances which forced an individual to turn into a skin-wearing maniac.
The website Bloody Disgusting unveiled the first look of the poster and the official synopsis of the upcoming horror flick.
“The film centers around a violent teen who one day will become Leatherface. He escapes from a mental hospital with three other inmates (Sam Coleman, Sam Strike, James Bloor, Jessica Madsen), kidnaps a young nurse (played by Vanessa Grasse) and takes her on a road trip from hell. Along the way, they are pursued by an equally deranged lawman (Stephen Dorff) out for revenge.”
The shooting of the Lionsgate’s film was performed mainly in Bulgaria though a confirmed released date has not been disclosed yet, but it is confirmed that it will be released in the coming year 2016 only. The film has been written by Seth M. Sherwood and has Lili Taylor, Stephen Dorff, Sam Strike, Julian Kostov, Nicole Andrews, James Bloor, Velizar Binev and Vanessa Grasse as part of its star cast.
So, one thing is clear that the film is definitely going to raise goosebumps of the audience upon its release.
