Lee Min Ho Hailed as Most Popular Korean Star In The Middle East and China
Lee Min Ho is definitely unstoppable. Who could say no to his good looks, his charm and of course, that irresistible smile? NO.ONE. The Korean actor is rapidly charming the whole world and recent reports have shown that the actor is the most popular hale star in the Middle East, most particularly in Arab countries and China!
An online survey was held last month and according to KBS World Radio, when they hear the word “Korean,” 3,000 people in Arab countries immediately think of Lee Min Ho. He got 14.8 percent of votes followed by Super Junior and EXO, then the Kpop groups were then followed by actress Park Shin-Hye and the last? Korean President Park Geun-Hye.
In another part of the world, China’s People’s Daily newspaper has chosen Lee as one of the hale stars that Chinese love most. They got these results from the survey that they have conduced on their homepage from July 20 – August 5, 2015.
Today, Lee Min Ho is the face of Korea as he was recently hailed an ambassador for tourism and he was also recently appointed as a goodwill ambassador for the upcoming Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, which will be held in 2018.
The actor also flew overseas just recently to be the new face of a popular chocolatier known worldwide, Ferrero Rocher. He shot in Rome, Italy and was also seen sharing photos of himself via his personal social media account.
Lee Min Ho has really come a long way, from playing the role of the Gu Jun Pyo in the hit Korean series “Boys Over Flowers” from getting a lead role in “The Heirs,” this actor has definitely captivated the whole world, and there is definitely no wonder why. Who doesn’t know and love Lee Min Ho, anyway?
