Lee Min-Ho’s New Single ‘The Day’ Hits No. 2 On Japanese Daily Chart
Hallyu star Lee Min-ho’s special album “The Day” ranked No. 2 on Japanese chart, on Dec. 2. It seems that the 28-year-old top television and film actor might conquer the music world.
Based on a report from K-PopHerald, actor Lee Min-ho released his special album that includes two tracks, titled “The Days” and “I Love You, ” on Nov. 25 in China & Korea, and on Nov. 30 in Japan, as a means to express his thanks to the fans that have supported him.
The mind-blowing album “The Day” of Lee Min-ho ranked high receiving No. 2 place on Japan’s coveted Oricon’s Daily Singles Chart. The popular girl group NMB48 obtained the No. 1 position, and the girl band Nogizaka 46 got the No. 3 position on the chart.
The source further added that the actor has released mini-albums “My Everything” in 2013 & “Song For You” in 2014, and a single “Thank You” in 2015. The actor has been presently involved in filming the action movie “Bounty Hunters.”
According to The Korea Times, agency Star House said that “The Day” has been gaining popularity and made huge hit on China’s largest online music site QQMusic. The Star House also revealed that the tickets for “Min-ho’s World,” the actor’s talk concert were sold out within a minute last week. The concert would be held in Kyunghee University, on Jan. 16.
Lee is also a cultural ambassador for the Korean tourism apart from being an actor and singer, reported Drama Fever. Indeed, his Korean tourism promotional video has gained above 22 million views on YouTube until Nov. 17.
