Warner Bros.  Wants to Make a ‘Legion of Super-Heroes’  Film

Rumor has it that a superhero film about the “Legion of Superheroes’ could be in works under Warner Bros. For more details on this story read on.

According to Comic Vine, Latino Review reported that the studio has alreadly started to give out comic book copies where the characters were based on to screenwriters and reps for their opinion on pic’s characters and concept. Might Legion be one of the nine untitled DC films Warner has announced?


The Legion of Superheroes is a super group based in the 30th and 31st centuries of the DC Universe. Inspired by the adventures of Superman, Cosmic Boy, Lightning Lad and Saturn Girl founded the group. The Legion is compromised of super-powered youngsters from all over the universe, calling their members “Legionnaires”. The group was heavily involved with time travel, often going back to the 20th century to meet their idol, Superboy, the teenager Clark Kent/ Kal-El, who would later go to the 30th Century as a regular member of the Legion roster. The Legion also accepted Superboy’s cousin, Supergirl, as a member of the team although she came from a later time period in the 20th century. The Legion battled alien conquerors, evil robots, crazed magicians and even demigods.

Earlier, Warner Bros. re-dated its “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” from May 6, 2016 to March 25, 2016 while unveiling nine other untitled DC pics. Moreover, Dwayne Johnson was casted as anti-hero Black Adam for a possible Shazam film, one down, eight more. A possible Justice League Film is also in talks.

Moreover, MNG previously reported that Warner Brothers have registered for domain names linking through their website. The domain names include JusticeLeagueFilm.com, ShazamMovie.com, WonderWomanTheMovie.com and AquamanMovie.com.

Wonder Woman and Aquaman are set to make an appearance on the upcoming “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” to be played by Gal Gadot and Jason Momoa respectively. “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” will follow the story of both Batman and Superman, along with some other known DC characters — Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Aquaman — after the events of “Man of Steel,” where Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane and Jeremy Irons are set to reprise their “Man of Steel” roles.
