Lena Dunham Engaged to Jack Antonoff? Shows Off Diamond Ring on Instagram

Are congratulations in order for “Girls” creator Lena Dunham and boyfriend Jack Antonoff?

Dunham was spotted wearing what seems to be an engagement ring on her finger in a recent Instagram post. The actress was also seen wearing the same piece of jewelry while running errands around the city, which got fans even more excited about possible wedding news.

The 28-year-old have always been vocal about her feelings for Antonoff, calling him her “life partner” in an interview with SiriusXM. She, however, shared that she was quite hesitant to tie the knot out of respect to her younger sister.

"I wanna wait until it's something—my sister's gay and it just doesn't feel good to me to do something she can't do," she explains.

As previously cited by MTV, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, as well as Kristen Bell and Dax Sehpard, had made similar vows, but both couples have since tied the knot.

Dunham and Antonoff had been dating since 2012. The two reportedly met during a blind date set up by his good friend, comedian Mike Birbiglia. Late last year, they stepped up their relationship and decided to move in together.

Although, Dunham was still a bit wary to tie the knot anytime soon, her musician beau was already thinking of starting a family. He told tMailOnline that he was actually "desperate" to have children, especially since he’s not getting any younger.

“I think it’s biological. I’m 30. I’m not that young, right? It just seems like the most fun thing in the world. I’ve never met people who have kids who haven’t looked me in the eye and been like, ''It’s the greatest thing that’s ever happened.''

Isn’t that just the sweetest? We sure hope Lena Dunham and Jack Antonoff gets married soon. The two would make such fun, adorable parents, don’t you think?
