Li Bingbing Of China Joins Australian Director Kimble Rendall For ‘Nest’
The cute face Chinese actress Li Bingbing, who has worked in “Transformers: Age of Extinction,” will soon be seen in a 3D sci-fi film titled “Nest” by Australian director Kimble Rendall. Read on for more information.
The actress will also produce this English language movie which will be made under the Chinese-Australian co-production. The famous studio of Australia titled Darclight will represent the movie, which is all about a group of scientists who lost one of its coworker at labyrinth, an ancient site. The group went there for making a huge discovery but get stuck there and to get out of that place they have to go through so many unidentified things like a swarm of deadly, man-eating funnel web spiders etc. The group, during its struggle, uncovers the secret of power and intelligence of insects.
The Loongs United Investment Company Ltd., a Beijing-based company which was founded in 2010, will be the production partner from the side of China, on the project. Popularly known projects like Jason Statham’s “Redemption” and “Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit” movies’distribution in China was handled by this company only.
Rising Sun Pictures of Australia that gave special effects in movies like “The Great Gatsby” and “X-Men: Days of Future Past” will handle the special effects zone of “Nest” too.
One of the film’s producers, Ying Ye who is also the managing director of Easternlight, Arclight’s Asian film-focused subsidiary, expressed his happiness over Bingbing accepting the project and said that they are excited to work with Li Bingbing, the talented actress, again, who is already a Chinese superstar, having a broad appeal across the world with many fans and top box-office numbers.
