Yes, a movie is making focusing on the Watergate scandal. It is all about the misuse of power by the Nixon administration for harassing political opponents out of suspicion, niggling activist groups and political figures with the use of people from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
Media has played a very bigger role in revealing the part played by FBI, CIA, IRS departments and, of course, the White House too in President Nixon’s re-election and break-in. All the important information was gathered by The Washington Post’s reporters named Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein from the sources worked for Nixon at the time of his rule and chief among them was a person called Deep Throat, originally known as Mark Felt.
As far as depicting the entire episode of Nixon government, a movie has already been made under the title of “All the President’s Men” in 1976. However, this upcoming movie will be based on the revelation made by Mark Felt after the demise of the president and his rule. It was also revealed that “Unfaithful” fame actress Diane Lane is also on board to play the role of Felt’s wife named Audrey, revealed Deadline.
