Liam Payne apologizes to fans after posing for ‘irresponsible’ picture on 360ft high roof ledge
Liam Payne has issued an apology to his fans after a scary image of him posing on the roof of a building emerged online. The ‘dangerous’ pic shows Liam standing on the ledge of a 360ft high roof of the building in London where he lives on the 34th floor.
A friend of his posted the snap which sparked concern among One Direction fans. They were rightly worried over the ‘stupid’ image. The photo has since been deleted and Liam last night took to Twitter to apologize for his irresponsible actions, insisting he does ‘not endorse any fans trying to repeat this’.
“You may have seen a photo of me today taken on top of a building. I regret being there and having a photo taken,” he wrote. “It was a stupid and irresponsible thing to do. I am sorry, and do not endorse any fans trying to repeat this, as it is extremely dangerous.”
It’s believed the snap of Liam was taken at the weekend when a few of his friends visited him from his home town of Wolverhampton.
His friends posted a number of pictures over the weekend, some of which had led to fans guessing the location of where the One Direction star lived.
“I know my friends have tweeted a lot of pictures of my house the past few days but can people please stop coming and waiting outside,” he continued. “I’d just like to be able to walk outside as everyone does and enjoy time with my friends, not feel bad for not wanting to take a picture.”
He again apologized to his fans he had snubbed outside of his apartment building. “Sorry if I’ve been rude to anyone but I’ve come to realise if I take one picture more people keep coming everyday xxx hope everyone’s good,” he wrote.
