Limitless TV Series Cast Update: Bradley Cooper Reprises Role As Eddie Mora
Audiences who have seen “Limitless” that was one of the most successful movies of 2011 wished at the time that if only there was a possibility where they could see more of a certain character called Eddie Morra using 100% of his brain to deal with day-to-day issues, nothing would beat that. It seems that the studios in Hollywood has smiled upon the same group of fans and have decided to come up with a sequel to the film in the form of a TV series. There’s more to it as Eddie Morra himself is set to return in the series which means Bradley Cooper himself will be reprising his role.
According to Forbes, “Limitless” movie was Bradley Cooper’s maiden shot at pulling a movie all by himself by becoming the official face of the movie’s poster. His intentions were paid off marvelously as the movie went on to gross $169 million worldwide against a budget of $27 Million. Not to forget the movie also had Robert De Niro as Cooper’s character Eddie’s temporary boss when the former hires the latter as an advisor on one of his deals.
The “Limitless” TV series is also said to feature a new entrant called Brian Finch who is an FBI agent and will be portrayed by Cooper’s American Sniper co-star Jake McDorman. The story will revolve around how Brian comes to know about the NZT drug and is later encouraged by the FBI to start using it and help them solve crimes.
Slash film further revealed that Brian’s character will actually be in close contact with Senator Eddie Morra as the character ended up running for the senate in the end of the movie. Hence for the same reason Mr. Cooper will keep on showing up as his character in the series and will also serve as the Executive producer on the series. The pilot for the series has been directed by Marc Webb and will have Cooper as a recurring character.
All we can say is it will be a series worth waiting for if we get to see the good old Eddie Morra showing up again and again.
