Lindsay Lohan May Run The Presidential Race In 2020
The 2020 Presidential Election may see some unprecedented candidates from the Holly town. Gradually, many a name is coming up in the scene and the latest addition is Lindsay Lohan. Yes, you read it right. After Kanye West, it’s now turn for the “Mean Girls” actress who reveals her desire to head the White House. We’re still a year away from the 2016 presidential election, but the 2020 race is already heating up as popular figures from the showbiz world keeps the bucket list in stepping into the shoes of the President.
On Friday, October 16, the controversial actress posted a snap of herself at the 2012 White House Correspondents Dinner, which she attended as a guest of Greta Van Susteren on her Instagram account. In the same post the 29-year-old actress expressed her most unpredictable longing to run the race in 2020, though we are not sure whether it’s just another sensational post or a serious plan for the near future.
The actress encountered multiple controversies for her addiction and psychological turmoil, that led to her arrest and later to rehab. The diva headed to London to mark her West End debut in “Speed-the-Plow” and earlier this year, expressed her wish to take a British citizenship. We wonder about her U.S. presidential bid, as practically it will be impossible if she is granted a British citizenship.
Well, Lohan did not forget to mention her imperative priority that she will make if elected for the prestigious post. The actress stated that she will nurse a great future for abandoned children and will pull the little souls, who are affected by global crisis, to a secure life. Undoubtedly, the approach is commendable and she credited all her inspiration to Queen Elizabeth for showing her the right path, as the royal highness has welcomed the actress in her country. Ahem! The haters may find a melodramatic tone here.
The former child star’s “announcement” comes two months after a similar declaration from Kanye West, who said at the 2015 MTV VMAs that he would make a run at the Oval Office in five years.
