‘Looking For Alaska’ Movie Cast: Taylor Swift Lands Major Role In John Green Film?
Taylor Swift is really a one heck of a lucky girl as she was considered by John Green for “Looking for Alaska” movie adaptation.
Swift swiped all the good fortune for herself! These past few years, the 25-year-old became one of the most influential music icons in the entertainment industry. She is a current pop artist and a former country artist who not only does dancing and singing, but she also writes her own songs that never fails to capture the hearts of every listener. To her Swifties, she’s become their inspiration and style icon, and now, it seems like the “Blank Space” singer may also add actress to her on-going resume of success.
In the report by Inquisitr, Swift previously expressed that she truly loves John Green’s book adaptation. Just last week, the young singer expressed her admiration to Green. In her account, she exclaimed that John Green is her favorite writer and Cara Delevingne, Halston Sage and Nat Wolff are some of her favorite people.
When the 37-year-old author was asked who he would like to cast in his next book adaptation film, Green had only one person in mind and that’s none other than Swift!
According to his Access Hollywood interview, he thinks Swift would be perfect in the role—that he sees Swift perfectly portraying the male hip-hop enthusiast with mad rapping skill.
“She’d be a great Takumi. She’d be great as The Colonel,” he said. “It could be one of those movies where Taylor Swift plays every character, just in a different outfit… like ‘Austin Powers.”’ Starring Taylor Swift, AND Taylor Swift.”
Green also added that he would take the chance to get Swift as part of his book adaptation film if he could, but unfortunately, at the end of the day it’s not his job.
On the other hand, everybody knew that if Swift will be part of “Looking for Alaska” movie, this will not be her first ever acting pool.
According to Taylor Swift profile in IMDb, she already had roles in movies, “The Giver” (2014), “New Girl” (2013) and in “Valentines Day” (2010). She also voiced the character of Audrey in “The Lorax” (2012) and had a small role in “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” (2009).
