Lorde Celebrates 2nd Year Anniversary of “Pure Heroine;” Thanks Fans Who Tattooed Her Work On Their Bodies

New Zealand singer Lorde has recently celebrated the 2nd year anniversary of the album that launched her career, “Pure Heroine.” Read on for more details on how she celebrated her album’s anniversary.

Believe it or not, it has been two years since Lorde’s “Pure Heroine” album was launched. Lorde thanked her fans through her Twitter account using the hashtag #2yearsofpureheroine.


According to Buzzfeed, the little Heroines, Lorde’s fans, helped the pop princess celebrate by uploading pictures of their tattoos that were inspired by Lorde’s work. Lorde even shared a collage of fan images on her Twitter page.

Many of her fans had the album logo tattooed on their arms.

While the others have chosen to get lyric tattoos.


Of course, some of them also chose to get the album title tattoo.

Some creative fans also incorporated art into their Lorde inspired tattoos.

Another fan tattooed Lorde’s name on her back and said that she will remove it unless her idol follows her on Twitter.

According to a report by Scout, Lorde went from being a YouTube sensation to a Grammy winner. She charmed her fans again on Sunday morning with heartfelt tweets as well as throwback pictures of some of her first shows.

Lorde’s “Pure Heroine” album was a huge success. It got two Grammy awards and five hit singles. It also made Lorde become the first female to win the Best Rock Video at the VMAs.

So what has Lorde been up to? Here’s good news to all Lorde fans out there. She is working on a new album but the release date is yet to be confirmed.

It will be recalled that Lorde released the single “Yellow Flicker Beat” on September 29, 2014. It was the first single from the soundtrack album for “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1.”
