Even though filming is well underway for the Brad Pitt produced period film starring Charlie Hunnam and Robert Pattinson, “The Lost City of Z,” more and more additional cast members are being added to the adventure epic, which is currently filming on location in Belfast, Northern Ireland, where local fans of the actors and actresses starring in the film are getting wonderful opportunities to interact with them. However, not everyone is pleased with them filming on the location for sometimes; filming on the location with sound effects may not always have a good effect on its local surroundings. Read on to learn more about who has been added to the cast, and the problems the movie has been facing with some of the locals.
At the beginning of September, both Deadline and The Wrap reported that two new cast members were added to the already impressive cast of “The Lost City of Z,” which includes the likes of Charlie Hunnam, Robert Pattinson and Sienna Miller, and being produced by Brad Pitt.
According to Deadline, “TURN: Washington’s Spies” star Angus Macfayden has signed on to portray explorer James Murray, who did accompany Colonel Percy (Charlie Hunnam) in several of his expeditions, and even financed one of them.
However, during the expedition that he financed, the two explorers fell apart from each other due to the fact that Murray became greedy and began hoarding rations, and began looking for privileges during the trip.
Aside from McFayden, The Wrap reported that actor Edward Ashley will be reuniting with his “In the Heart of the Sea” co-star Tom Holland, as Colonel Arthur Manley, who also accompanied the legendary explorer into the depths of the Amazonian jungle in search for the titular lost city.
A few days ago, it was reported on the Belfast Live that several local residents near Antrim Hills became a little bit worried after hearing gunshots and smoke in the area, and became afraid for their livestock due to this.
It seems that the film was filming a battle sequence in Antrim Hills, which explained what the locals heard and saw.
