Lou Williams Signs with the Lakers: Is ‘Showtime’ BACK in LA?

According to YAHOO! Sports report, Lou Williams, former Sixth Man of the Year, will join the Los Angeles Lakers. The free-agent guard Williams has signed a three-year, $21 million deal with the American professional basketball team.
NBA News reported, “Lou Williams and Roy Hibbert are headed to Los Angeles to play for the 2015-16 Lakers.” The source also added that the Lakers have finally found some talented players like Roy Hibbert, Lou Williams and Brandon Bass for the next season.
Toronto Raptors guard Lou Williams, who won the 2014-15 NBA Sixth Man of the Year award, is a proven scorer, reported GossipglitZ. The source also added that the 10-year shooting guard has “questionable shot selection, but is actually fairly efficient within the context of taking some bad shots,” and has “averaged 15.5 points and 2.0 assists in 80 games last season for the Raptors.”
The source further reported that the Los Angeles Lakers team would also add more free agents such as players Rodney Stuckey and JJ Barea who are available.
SB NATION reported that Williams has been with the Sixers for seven years and with Atlanta for the next two years, before he joined with Toronto. Williams is currently a free agent. In 2013, Williams suffered ACL injury. Now, he has completely recovered from the injury, said the source. The 28-year-old high volume scorer will definitely would not have changed much in his talent. The American professional basketball player has now signed a deal with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Though Lou Williams scoring may get some bad shots, his efficiency and explosiveness provide a huge boost.
