M. Night Shyamalan’s ‘The Visit’ Snatches Over $25M At Weekend Box Office

People across the globe are wondering as to where is M. Night Shyamalan and as to when he will be back. The answer for thousands of fans is probably over now. Two wonderful movies “The Perfect Guy” and “The Visit” will be out in the market soon and it is expected that the movies will accumulate more than $25 million.

According to forbes.com, no comparison is being done between these two movies here as both the movies have made their impact in their respective field. “The Visit” movie scored really well on Saturday night as its earnings jumped by 15%, straight to more than ten million dollars from a little over nine million dollars on Friday.

It is a remarkable feat and first ever to happen for the movies of M. Night Shyamalan. It is considered to be the second biggest jump from Friday to Saturday ever. “TheSixth Sense” had recorded a jump of 20% on Saturday, after its opening. What is more to be noted here, is that the collection was even more on Sunday as compared to Friday.

According to looknews.org, it is not expected that the history will repeat again. It is difficult to pinpoint a movie that has been on the rise on Saturday. “The Visit” movie will make a massive impression with a collection of more than twenty-five million on the weekend.

A multiplier of this kind, particularly for a horror movie has not been seen yet. Even in the case of “Paranormal Activity” things were moving up but not as significant as this movie. In case you are hell bent on looking at such results, than you will have to look the records of “What Lies Beneath,” “Signs,” “The Ring,” and “Saw,” which had a phenomenal performance during weekends.
