‘Married At First Sight’ Season 2: Davina And Sean Diss Each Other After Divorce; Says Relationship Is Doomed From Start
“Married at First Sight” season 2 cast Davina Kullar and Sean Varricchio reportedly did not end their relationship in good terms. When the couple decided to get a divorce, they vowed to remain friends, however, things changed for the worse.
During the “Married at First Sight” season 2 finale, Davina and Sean decided that they could no longer stay as husband and wife and ended up getting a divorce. The couple explained that although their marriage did not work out, they are still happy to be part of the social experiment.
As IB Times pointed out, the main reason why Davina and Sean’s relationship failed was because they did not see each other eye to eye. Both of them would not bulge on their living arrangements, Davina not wanting to move out of new York, same as goes with Sean. It did not help that they were the only couple who never had sex during their six-week long marriage.
Speaking to NY Post, Davina explained that her marriage with Sean is doomed from the start. She said that they never really had any chemistry to begin with and that she never felt connected to her former husband.
“I don’t think the real Sean, the genuine Sean ever really showed up. I can’t say that I really know who I was married to,” she said.
“Things were tense. I was constantly walking on eggshells, where it definitely became difficult to see how we could grow a relationship.”
Meanwhile, Sean praised the “Married at First Sight” experts and held that it was only the lack of chemistry that didn’t make their marriage work.
“I think the experts, they gave it their all to match me with someone who was compatible with me, but love is not an exact science, neither is dating, matchmaking or anything of that nature,” he said.
