According to Us Magazine, “Married at First Sight” couple David Norton and Ashley Doherty are finding it hard to maintain their intimacy levels. The honeymoon is already over but both Norton and Doherty are only as close as a high-five–the honeymoon being the only point of physical contact between the two. Norton stated that they don’t touch each other at all, not that’s a real bad sign for a good marriage.
On top of that, Doherty chooses to stay at her own place, leaving her hubby alone at home, which is a bit disheartening for Norton. He revealed on a home video that he feels defeated and has a feeling that Doherty does not like him, as stated by New York Post. While other couples are doing good and are maintaining nice communication and apt intimacy levels.
Apparently, this is what the show is all about “Married at First Sight”, the couples are married on their first date and what they know about each other is absolutely zero.
Norton is being really nice to Doherty and is giving lot of time and space to her. Since she is a full time student he has taken the entire financial burden on himself and even opted for a big house for her, which will cost him $3,500 per month in Midtown.
