‘The Martian’ Update: New TV Spots, ‘LOTR’ Connection and Actual Scientific Relations!
“The Martian” movie will hit US theaters on October 2, 2015 and will have UK release date on September 30, 2015. The screenplay of this sci-fi space movie is by Drew Goddard. Apart from Matt Damon and Jessica Chastain, cast also includes Sean Bean, Chiwetel Elijofor, Kristen Wiig, Jeff Daniels, Naomi Scott and Kate Mara.
It would not be the first time Matt Damon and Jessica Chastain are working together. The duo was also in the space movie “Interstellar”, which is believed by many including Matt Damon that may be copied in “The Martian”. Director Ridley Scott assured of a very different movie from “Interstellar”.
Matt Damon is once again left on a stranded planet with meager supplies after a storm hit the crew and Matt Damon’s character was believed to be dead. After a lot of struggle, Matt Damon is able to send a signal to Earth that he is alive and well. The plan to bring him home begins.

“The Martian” movie is believed to be very accurate and a lot of NASA inputs has been provided. The script itself has 70 pages in-details from NASA. “The Martian” movie is shot in red deserts of Wadi Rum, Jordan.
According to IMDb, there is a mission plan in the novel by Andy Weir inspired from “Lord Of The Rings” and named as Council of Elrond. The man involved in this mission plan is Mitch Henderson, which is being played by Sean Bean. Sean Bean also played Boromir in “LOTR”.
“The Martian” movie is subjected to PG 13 rating due to strong language and partial nudity. The movie is distributed by 20th Century Fox and produced by Scott Free Productions and Kinberg Genre.
The new TV spot “Never Stop Fighting” of the movie is as live as it gets. You will see Matt Damon’s character Mark Watney say, “Tell the world, tell my family that I never stop fighting to make it home.”
