According to a special preview on TV Line, Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) learned from Strategic Scientific Reserve Agent Daniel Sousa (Enver Gjokaj) that Strategic Scientific Reserve Agent Jack Thompson (Chad Michael Murray) was getting into the good graces of the Chief. Thompson did it by setting up a sting operation in order to get back one of Howard Stark’s (Dominic Cooper) inventions. It was said that the invention was being sold by a fence, a club owner named Spider Raymond. However, they were not just only planning on getting back Stark’s invention, but they were also hoping to nab Raymond and his buyer as well.
In order to learn more about it, Peggy grabbed Daniel’s coffee cup and demanded that he needed a refill. She then proceeded to prepare a tray with mugs and a cup of coffee and took her time in pouring it out inside the conference room.
Inside, Jack informed them that they should not have uniformed back up. It might scare Spider Raymond and his buyer off before they could get to him. The Chief finally noticed that Peggy was taking quite a long time in pouring out the cups of coffee for them and told her that the meeting was for field agents only. However, Jack told him to let Peggy stay as she might learn something. Peggy then reassured them that it was okay, as she was able to learn something by listening in on their meeting.
And that was all for the spoilers and the sneak peek on “MARVEL’s Agent Carter” Season 1 Episode 2 “Bridge and Tunnel.” For more updates on “MARVEL’s Agent Carter” and other television news, keep following Movie News Guide (MNG).
