A new promotional video has also been released which tease and hint what fans should be expecting from the winter finale. WARNING: This article will contain spoiler for both the latest episode, “Closure,” and the upcoming episode, “Maveth.” Read on to learn more about what happened in the last episode and to learn more as to what to expect in the upcoming episode.

Not many anticipated what would happen in the latest episode of MARVEL’s “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” as it delivered one surprise after another.

Early in the episode, Constance Zimmer’s Rosalind Price was killed off, which was just as much as a surprise to her and the rest of the cast, according to her recent interview with Entertainment Weekly.

She also mentioned that both she and Clark Gregg were “devastated” by that scene and that Gregg literally cried real tears for Rosalind, especially as Zimmer mentioned that she felt that Rosalind had feelings for S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg), and Gregg, in his interview with The Hollywood Reporter, mentioned that he did really care a lot for her.

She also mentioned how that scene was very bittersweet as they finally managed to have a date, and that was where she was killed, and regretfully mentioned that she knew that Rosalind and Coulson could have made a wonderful team against HYDRA.

Afterwards, we saw how Coulson went on a warpath against Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), and crossed several lines that Coulson in his right mind would never cross. However, Greg admitted in his interview with The Hollywood Reporter that Rosalind’s death was the push that his character needed to bring out all those emotions that he had been keeping inside of him due as he was the director of S.H.I.E.L.D.

His friends, though, do know that he is flying off the handle, as everyone, from Bobbi “Mockingbird” Morse (Adrienne Palicki), to the new acting director of S.H.I.E.L.D., Agent Alphonse “Mack” Mackenzie (Henry Simmons), has called him out on his irrational behavior, even though Coulson is now in quite comfortable territory- being an agent.

Coulson then managed to surprise everyone by jumping into the portal at the last minute; and Ward surprised everyone by deciding to put aside his vendetta against S.H.I.E.L.D. for the moment in order to do HYDRA’s bidding in bringing the Inhuman in the planet back to earth.

The only good thing that came out of the events that just happened was that Daisy Johnson’s (Chloe Bennett) “Secret Warriors” team finally got formed, even though they only consist of her, Joey Gutierrez (Juan Pablo Raba) and Lincoln Campbell (Luke Mitchell).

Gregg also teased that viewers will be seeing an even more darker side to Coulson, and that most of the next episode will take place on the planet, which was confirmed by the promotional video that has just been released on Spoiler TV.

In the video, it seemed like Agent Leo Fitz (Iain de Caestecker) has found Will (Dillon Casey), who was walking beside him in front of a team of HYDRA soldiers, led by Ward.

It was also shown that Coulson and Ward will be physically fighting each other on the planet, with Ward now believing in the power and might of HYDRA.

Back on earth, Mack, Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen), Bobbi, Lance Hunter (Nick Blood) and Daisy’s “Secret Warriors” team rushed against time to reopen the portal for Coulson and Fitz to come back home, despite Lincoln’s trepidation that they might also be allowing the Inhuman monster on the planet to come back to earth as well.

Fitz was then heard screaming out loud that they had to leave, just as Daisy announces that they were running out of time.
