Mass Effect Andromeda: A New Universe with 4K Display, Multiplayer Modes

Bioware’s Mass Effect Andromeda is being eagerly anticipated by fans. The release date has been kept under wraps but looks like Amazon has let the cat out the bag. There are all new features added, with Multiplayer modes and 4K displays

The release date on Amazon listing for Dark Horse Comics’ Art of Mass Effect: Andromeda book is on March 21 in the US. It is releasing 2 days later in the UK on March 23. As the book is timed to release with the game, speculations are rife that the game will also hit stores on the same days.

IGN quotes EA CFO Blake Jorgensen’s statement, “We’ve got a great year ahead…We have our Mirror’s Edge runner game this first quarter, and then we have Mass Effect, which is a sci-fi action game, in our fourth quarter. So big year ahead and we’re pretty excited.”

This fits in the same timeline of Amazon’s release. Looks like the release date of Mass Effect Andromeda is pretty much locked down. Players can expect more information on Nov. 7 or N7 day about game features and customization.

Mass Effect Andromeda will also sport a stunning 4K display. The game is expected to have a map which 4 times bigger than the previous version. Also it is widely anticipated that Bioware has leveled up the game’s multiplayer mode. Players can build their own colonies on the alien planet and must defend it from enemies.

GameNGuide reports that the colonies will also have its planetary forms because of the new game setting. The game will also feature two new characters – the Ryder Twins. Players will have a choice to customize and select the gender, choose vehicles and other social features like romantic relationships with companions and a dialogue tree

Mass Effect: Andromeda will be playable on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
