Master P Claims His New ‘Family Empire’ Reality Show Is Better Than ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’
Music mogul Master P and his family has just signed up to be part of a new reality series, called “Master P’s Family Empire” on Reelz.
According to The Wrap, Master P (Percy Miller) will be having a new reality series that would focus on the rapper as he tries to balance business with his family life. Family members Romeo, Veno, Cymphonique, Hercy and Mercy have all signed up to be part of the highly anticipated show. The show is produced by Asylum Entertainment and is set to premiere on November 28.
Reelz CEO Stan E. Hubbard praised Master P for his “true American success story.” He believed that a reality series about his family is definitely something that the audience would love to see.
“The Miller family’s infectious chemistry, genuine love for each other and commitment to working hard and following their father’s rules makes them as relatable as they are entertaining,” he said.
Speaking to Yahoo! the 48-year-old rapper said that they wanted to create a new reality series that is “positive” and “cool.” Master P also took quite a jab at one of the most popular reality show, “Keeping up with the Kardashians.”
“The Kardashians are entertaining, but what we’re doing is positive entertainment, which is supposed to not be cool. With my family, we’re going to make it cool, because we’ve been cool our whole lives.”
Master P also noted that he wanted to give an audience a sneak peak of what it’s really like to be in a hip-hop family.
