Max Greenfield Wants To Play Christian Grey On ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ Movie

“New Girl” cast Max Greenfield is rumored to star in in “Fifty Shades Darker”, sequel to “Fifty Shades of Grey” film. According to several reports, the actor has voiced his interest in being cast in the erotic movie.

As previously reported by Us Weekly, “New Girl” star Max Greenfield wanted to be in “Fifty Shades Darker”. When asked if there were any movies that he wanted to be part in, the actor said he would jump at the opportunity of being part of the “Fifty Shades of Grey” cast.

“Maybe I could be the 51st Shade? I don’t know, that’s definitely a move I’m looking to make,” he teased.

Though Greenfield is known as a funny man, it seems that he wants to tap on his sexiness. He did, after all, played Sandy Cohen’s younger version on “The O.C.”

Greenfield teased that he’s willing to channel a young Sandy Cohen again, if given the chance. He added that he finished the E.L. James trilogy and thought that he’d be perfect to play the role of Christian Grey. Too bad, it already went to Jamie Dornan, though.

“I’d probably retire after I did [Fifty Shades of Darker] because I think my performance would be just spot-on,” he teased.

Meanwhile, it has also been rumored that Cara Delevingne has been shortlisted to play as one of Christian Grey’s submissive in the upcoming “Fifty Shades of Grey” sequel. As Movie News Guide previously reported, the writers have been very fond of the Victoria’s Secret model and spoke highly of her acting chops.

Cara Delevingne has received high praises when he starred in “The Face of an Angel”, based on the true-story of Amanda Knox. She is also set to star in the film adaptation of John Green’s “Paper Towns.”
