‘Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials’ 30-Minute Spoiler: Intense Scenes, A Whole New Level Of Concept

Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials” director Wes Ball revealed that the science-fiction film would feature exciting whole new level of themes when it hits US theaters on Sept. 18, 2015. What could fans expect? Read on for more details.

In an interview with Zap2It, Ball said that fans are definitely going to be excited for the “Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials.”


“We carry them into a whole new set of circumstances they have to survive. Whole new threats and a whole new landscape they have to traverse. It’s exciting,” Wes Ball told Zap2It.

The director also shared the types of scenes, the film’s concepts, and the production.

“The types of scenes are so different than the first movie, everything. It’s about being scared, locked in these dark places with just flashlights and I love that kind of really raw, very real since we’re not really doing a lot of movie lighting. And it’s just flashlights, it’s just really scary,” he told MTV in an interview.

As opposed to “The Maze Runner” that has two or three sets, the sequel reportedly had about a dozen of sets. Not only that, the cast of the “Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials” also doubled in size.

Thomas’ (Dylan O’Brien) group are going to meet a female group that had the same trials as well as mission. They were also tasked in finding a cure before being contracted with The Flare.

A 30-minute glimpse of the film was also seen by Hypable during the Comic-Con event. It featured the present-day Thomas having a dream about him as a kid with his mother. The 30-minute clip also had Chuck and Rat-Man (Aidan Gillen), the same guys they rescued from the Maze and found a safe refuge.

“Whose side are you,” Rat-Man reportedly asked Thomas. But Thomas would refuse to trust any of the grownups. Aris (Jacob Lofland) was also shown who was able to convince Thomas to follow him through the vents to prove that WCKD is doing something not right.

Then they would be able to discover it that WCKD is behind everything. In the last 30 minutes, Thomas and his group would escape from the compound in an intense scene.


And finally, the entered Scorch.
