In 2014, fans of James Dashner’s “The Maze Runner” series were eagerly waiting for the release of the first ever movie adaptation on their favourite series. The film will star Dylan O’Brien in the most famous titular role as Thomas. The first movie proved to be a box-office hit with the fans and with the critics. However, the film had few major changes from the original series, but it remained for the most part, and it proved to be a good YA Adaptation.
“Maze Runner 2: The Scorch Trials,” based upon the second and third books, is almost set to release in no time. However, fans of the book are well aware of the Private Sector Organization also known as Wicked (WCKD in the movies), but the fans who never followed the book series had no idea what was going on. Keeping that in mind, the marketing campaign are revolutionizing the way in which they introduce moviegoers to the major characters.
So who is WCKD?
According to the book series and the first adaptation of the movie, WICKED (WCKD) is an organisation which was originally formed to cure for ‘The Flare.’ But after the outbreak of the deadly virus, the rest of the government of the world combined all of their resources to set this organization again, for the world who desperately needed a cure from the virus.

What is ‘The Flare?’
According to Movie Pilot, ‘The Flare’ is a deadly virus that slowly eats away the brain and eventually turns the human (or victim) into a blood-thirsty human. The infected person, known as Cranks in the books considers cannibalism to be an everyday objective.
According to Moviefone, the clip released introduces us Jorge (played by Giancarlo Esposito), the leader of a rough and tumble group who has captured Gladers and Thomas. As they again get acquainted, hold each other at arm’s length.
“You’re very, very valuable,” Jorge tells Thomas, though of course, the reason being is still unknown to us, but all we know that it is going to be very thrilling.
“Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials” is slated for September 18 release. Ready to watch Cranks!
