Michael Fassbender To Play Jo Nesbo’s Signature Detective In His Next
It seems our dear young Magneto aka Michael Fassbender is not going to leave any stone unturned for adding variety to his profile by doing diverse characters. Till now, we have seen him as a mutant, a robot, a couple of geniuses, a pop star and The Dude too, but as per a current rumor, he will soon be wearing the mask of a logical detective.
Yes, Fassbender’s name is coming to light for the much awaited Jo Nesbo’s novel “The Snowman’s” movie adaptation and if all goes right we will see him playing the character of Harry Hole, Nesbo’s signature detective of the novel. It is said that “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy’s” director Tomas Alfredson will helm the project and Universal will be the distributor of the same.
The novel is about detective Hole who took up a missing person’s case that will lead him to a serial killer. This novel’s light interesting drama will work as a sigh of relief for Fassbender, who is currently involved in the hectic schedule of some serious movies like biopic “Steve Jobs,” “Macbeth,” and “Assassin’s Creed” etc.
Before this, a film on one of Nesbo’s other novels titled “Headhunters” was made in Swedish language by The Imitation Game’s director Morten Tyldum. With the help of this 2011 film, a new face named Nikolaj Coster-Waldau established him in the industry and now gaining fame as a Lannister of the popular TV series “Game Of Thrones.” So, “The Snowman” is not the first one to be chosen for a movie adaptation and with renowned names connected to its silver screen making, Nesbo must be feeling happy about it.
Well, with only few details in hands, nothing can be said at this point of time about the beginning of “The Snowman,” but one thing is clear that it will definitely going to be a fun ride for Fassbender’s fans. Till then, let us wish the trio Tomas Alfredson, Michael Fassbender and ofcourse Jo Nesbo all the very best for this project.
