Milla Jovovich’s Stuntwoman Got Injured During Shoot, the Star Appeals’ Followers To Pray For Her Recovery

Milla Jovovich, who is nicknamed as the “reigning queen of kick-butt,” is currently devastated following the information of her stuntwoman named Olivia Jackson’s injury during the shoot of her upcoming movie, “Resident Evil: The Final Chapter,” the last film of the Resident Evil franchise. And for the speedy recovery of her, the actress has asked fans to pray. Read on for more details.

She has gone to Facebook to express her feelings related to the unfortunate mishap. She wrote, “I sit down to write this post with a heavy heart, because a terrible accident rocked our set on Saturday the 5th of September. My incredibly talented stunt double, Olivia Jackson, collided with a camera crane while performing a motorcycle stunt and it put her in the hospital with severe, multiple injuries. The cast and crew of Resident Evil: The Final Chapter have been totally devastated and are waiting with bated breath for news on her recovery.”


The 32-year-old Jackson has also performed stunts in the upcoming “Star Wars” franchise movie titled “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” and it was said that she was put in a medically induced coma. As far as the injury part is concerned, she suffered major head injuries with injuries in the lung portion as she was hit by a metal camera arm while performing a chase scene in South Africa on a speedy motorcycle, reported The Guardian. Additionally, Sky News reported that Jackson was not wearing protective gear.

For speedy and well-being of her Stuntwoman, Jovovich further wrote, “All of us here have been praying every single day for her and her family and sending our thoughts out hoping some of the positive energy reaches her, because she truly needs it… I would really appreciate it if you would take a moment out of your busy days ahead and pray for Olivia’s full recovery too. She needs all the help she can get right now and every bit of the good energy we can send. Thank you.”

Well, we all are with Jovovich and Jackson’s family in praying for her speedy recovery. May she gets well soon and discharged from the hospital.
