‘Minions’ Get Crazy for Super Bowl Promo [WATCH VIDEO]

Prepare yourself for the coming of the whimsically adorable. Universal Pictures sets their high gears for the promotion of their upcoming animated movie based on the origin story of Gru’s “Minions,” and this Super Bowl promo will simply make you squeal from their cuteness. Read on to know more about this preview.

Brace yourself for the coming of trailers that will accelerate your excitement to a whole new level as Illumination Entertainment’s spin-off for the “Despicable Me” franchise, “Minions,” gets their Super Bowl Promo, and it is briefly and whimsically centered on the audience’s reactions as they watch The Big Game.

“Swing those pants, BABY!” According to ComicBook.com, the barely one-minute promo of “Minions” is created to re-enact how audience behave as they watch The Big Games and cheering for their favorite teams. Obviously exemplifying over excitement and enthusiasm, it’s up to the Minions to bring in their version with a cute and hilarious touch and a “64 ounce of really sticky fruity drink.”

Starting as single-celled yellow organisms, Minions evolve through the ages, perpetually serving the most despicable of masters. After accidentally killing off so many of them—from T. rex to Napoleon—the Minions find themselves without a master to serve and fall into a deep depression. But one Minion named Kevin has a plan, and he—alongside teenage rebel Stuart and lovable little Bob—ventures out into the world to find a new evil boss for his brethren to follow. “Minions” is co-directed by Kyle Balda (“The Lorax”) and Pierre Coffin “Despicable Me 1 & 2”).

Such trailer can be seen during the game this Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015, as the New England Patriots face the Seattle Seahawks. “Minions” premieres in theaters this July 10, 2015.
