Miranda Lambert Criticized For Flaunting Heirloom Fur Coat
It appears as if Miranda Lambert is not going through the good phase of life. She was already upset with ex-husband Blake Shelton’s’ affair with “The Voice” co-judge Gwen Stefani and now is got into the controversy with her fur coat. She got slammed for posting her picture in fur coat she received as Christmas present from her grandma. Though some fans love her new look, there were many who criticized her for wearing fur including PETA.
According to E! News, PETA the animal rights group has criticized the country singer for flaunting her new look in a furry coat. It is stated that the 32-year-old Lambert received the heirloom fur coats on Christmas from her grandma. She also posted a picture of her grandpa and her fur coat which has her name embroidered on it. She seemed to be very happy with the priceless possession she had as a memoir of her grandma.
But the happiness was short lived as Senior Vice President PETA, Lisa Lange released a statement stating that they were highly disappointed with Lambert as she is very actively involved in the rescue of dogs but did not think from where the fur has come from. She further mentioned that the fur comes from fox, cat, mink or dog who were innocent and did not want to die for a coat as mentioned by Celebuzz.
Miranda Lambert is condemned by her fans as well for the choice if flaunting fur. Well, her happiness has just gone a wrong way and back fired her. The irony is Lambert and her mom run MuttNation Foundation which provides animal shelter and is working on promoting pet adoption.
