It has been a shock for all Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton fans that their favorite and ideal country music couple didn’t last long. Both singers are now dealing with their own lives this time around—the “Sangria” singer is now madly in love with Gwen Stefani while his ex-wife is now on the process of moving out from the place where they once built a happy married life.
According to Classicalite, the 32-year-old songstress is really determined to move on with her life as the latest gossips claim that she is planning to close down her two businesses in Oklahoma that she opened when she’s still married to Shelton.
The site reported that the songstress’ decision to close down her local boutique and animal shelter made “The Voice” coach’s neighbors hurt, especially that this is reportedly a big part of her life in attempting to be part of Shelton’s life.
A source revealed that since Lambert’s divorce with Shelton, last July, the songstress started to prepare everything to shut down her no-kill animal shelter business in Tishomingo and her local boutique named, The Pink Pistol. This move of Lambert is said to be one of her ways to put her past behind and move on totally with her life
“Miranda’s so determined to get out of Dodge, she’s already given a two-weeks notice to employees at the shelter and made plans for the boutique’s closing,” the source revealed.
On the other hand, in Lambert’s recent interview with Cosmopolitan, she admitted that she’s “still processing everything” that’s happening—she’s still “figuring out where to go” and “what happened.”
“[Marriage] is a tough business, and we gave it our best college try…,” Lambert said.
Adding on, when it comes to romance, it seems like her divorce changed her perspective about love as Miranda Lambert thinks that getting married is not a “step in life,” instead it is “the way you feel about somebody and the commitment in your heart.”
