The most talked about Miss Universe competition recently happened last Dec. 20, 2015, Sunday night at Las Vegas. While everyone else is already cheering for the glorious moment of Miss Colombia, host Steve Harvey went back to the center stage and apologized for the mishap. Before the show ended, he corrected the earlier mistake and announced it was Miss Philippines who rightfully won the competition.

It broke the internet as everyone have their own opinion about what happened even Donald Trump has his words regarding the beauty pageant. According to Hollywood Life, he offered an answer to end all these brouhaha. For him, he believes that Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez and Miss Philippines, Pia Alonza Wurtzbach can be crowned as the co-winners of the recent contest.

“I’ll tell you what I think I’d do. I think I’d make ’em a co-winner, I would recommend that they go have a beautiful ceremony, which is good for the brand and good for Miss Universe, and do a co-winner.” Trump shared on The Today Show

. NBC reported that he didn’t blame Harvey for the things that occurred. “It was a terrible error. Things happen. It’s live television.”

Trump was a former co-owner of Miss Universe organization along with NBC Universal but around June, the partnership was cut due to the controversial comments of the presidential candidate against the Mexican immigrants.

NBC Universal didn’t broadcast the Miss USA competition last July and it prompted him to consider filing a case against them. However, the misunderstanding between them was addressed and what comes next is he acquired half of the organization’s share last September and immediately sold it to WME/IMG talent agency.

Donald Trump’s ideas could be a temporary solution for the latest misfortune in Miss Universe but in the long term, it might create more problems. One thing’s for sure, the next pageant will have a careful announcement of the rightful winner.
