Miss Universe 2015: Miss Germany Says ‘Sorry’ To Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach After Shady Comments?
“She never intended to offend Miss Philippines in any way,” –Miss Germany in Miss Universe 2015.
Miss Germany Sarah-Lorraine Riek apologized to Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach after throwing shady comments to her in Miss Universe 2015. But did she sincerely mean it or it was only done by her organization to control the ongoing negative comments towards Miss Germany? Read on!
According to Independent, Riek known as Miss Germany 2015 reportedly said her “Sorry” to Miss Philippines after frankly suggesting that Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez is more deserving to win the crown and not Wurtzbach.
In Perez Hilton’s blog, this year’s Miss Universe “sure brought a ton of controversy” because of the Steve Harvey’s “honest mistake”, as he announced the wrong winner of the prestigious pageant.
However, it seems like nothing can beat the other contestants actions as they throw shades to the real winner of the beauty pageant, especially Miss Germany, who’s being too frank with her impression on what just happened to the contest.
Australia Network News reported that it seems like Riek is obviously angrier than Miss Colombia based on her wordings when she was interviewed after the pageant.
“I really couldn’t believe it. I was so upset because, for me, she was robbed…I was very happy for Colombia, actually. she really deserved it. But I’m very unhappy with the result and so were the other girls, I’m very sorry to say it,” Riek bluntly said.
Riek’s organization immediately released an official statement about what Miss Germany said to Miss Universe and Wurtzbach.
“She [Ms. Reik] never intended to offend Miss Philippines in any way… She is really sorry if the video suggests anything else than that. It’s an emotional roller coaster… She and all the other girls felt so sorry for Colombia at that moment… That’s not the final result moment what you wish for anyone. And also for Pia.” –Miss Universe- Germany.
However, this post is reportedly deleted.
