‘Moana’ Will Be Disney’s First Ever Polynesian Princess

Like all its gorgeous and stunningly carved characters, Disney introduced yet another star from its creation at its recent D23 Expo on August 14. Meet Moana Waialiki, she’s a Princess from the enchanting islands of Polynesia. Disney revealed an adventurous voyage of the new Princess amidst the tidal waves.

With this added feather to it’s already mesmerizing league, Disney is all set to scale new heights with a fresh new story and screenplay. On its recent blog titled ‘Moana Dazzles at D23 Expo,’ Disney posted, “We were already deeply excited for Moana, the new Disney animated film from Ron Clements and John Musker, the super genius duo behind The Great Mouse Detective,AladdinThe Little Mermaid and The Princess and the Frog. And then we saw today’s D23 Expo presentation.”

Moana is young Princess who takes on a gut-wrenching journey to discover herself and the purpose of life. The fearless young woman takes on the ocean and encounters Maui (Dwayne Johnson), a demigod who together battle the ancient and demonic creatures. Every Disney Princess comes with her own set of companions or may we say, sidekicks! Princess Moana has an adorable pig names Pau and a rooster names Hei-Hei.

The D23 Expo presentation was a highly-anticipated one. Moana’s voyage is sure to make you skip a heartbeat. The visuals are breathtaking and the animated sequences are sure to leave you speechless. The film is slated to release on November 23, 2016. Disney, while giving the presentation, described Moana as “young woman with exceptional navigational ability” who is destined to have a much larger purpose.” reported TheBitBag.com
