‘Mob Wives’ Going Off Air After Season 6
“Mob Wives,” the VH1 reality series is coming close to an end after season 6. The last season will premiere on Jan. 13, 2016, and will be the final instalment of the series. The announcement came in recently due to health concern of Angela Raiola aka Big Ang. It was revealed that Railoa has been diagnosed with the relapse of cancer as she has already undergone two major surgeries earlier.
“Mob Wives” is based on real lives of women whose family members are detained and imprisoned for having connections of the mafia.
According to Christian Post, it is reportedly said that after two successful surgeries of cancer Big Ang is diagnosed with another cancerous lump in her throat. Henceforth, “Mob Wives” will feature its last season in January next year calling it off the air after the final instalment.
The season is said to feature the battling story of Big Ang and how she is dealing with the disease along with managing family and business side by side.
The last season will feature Drita D’ Avanzo, Karen Gravano and Big Ang of course. The last season is titled as “Mob Wives: The Last Stand” as reported by Realty Today.
The series closure was officially announced by VH1 Senior Vice President for the east coast production and development, Nina L. Diaz. She went on to thank the members of the reality series for sharing their lives and secrets on screen with their fans. She further mentioned appreciating the fact that they allowed the series to explore their lives.
The show runner of “Mob Wives,” Jennifer Graziano, also mentioned that it was a wonderful journey of exploration of their lives which no one has ever seen.
