‘Mob Wives’ Star Angela Raiola To Undergo One More Throat Cancer Surgery
“Mob Wives” star Angela Raiola has to undergo one more throat cancer surgery. She already had a successful surgery of cancerous tumor in her throat in April.
Angela, “Big Ang” Raiola of VH1’s “Mob Wives” TV show, disclosed that she was on the second stage of throat cancer when she was diagnosed with tumor in March, reported Daily News.
Raiola underwent an 8-hour surgery to remove the lemon-size tumor and all the lymph nodes on the left side of her neck on April 7. Just three weeks after the successful surgery, Angela was reported attending fundraising events and supervising the renovation of her luxurious Staten Island home.
The 54-year-old reality star also revealed that she has to undergo another surgery to remove the lymph nodes on the right side of her neck. Definitely, she would be subjected to radiation treatments if those nodes include cancer cells.
Angela Raiola fears the second surgery and not ready for that as she hates anesthesia.
“I am not one for surgery,” said the “Mob Wives” star. She even added, “Plastic surgery? OK, 20 years ago. But as I got older, I got scared. I hate anesthesia.”
However, Ang knows very well that she has to convince herself for the second surgery at least for the sake of her family.
The reality star’s health was recovering after the first surgery. Though she finds hard to lift her left arm up, she does not wish to spend much time in relaxing. When the Daily News visited her to gather updates regarding her recovery, she was busy cleaning the kitchen and overseeing her four-story, ultra-modern home that she remodeled and decorated herself.
In addition, during an interview in May, Angela Raiola revealed that she would return for the Season 6 of “Mob Wives” and that she has signed up for the season.
Big Ang suffers big challenge. However, it seems that Angela Raiola keeps herself positive and confident always. Great job Mrs. Raiola!
