Natalia Cordova-Buckley Joins ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ as Slingshot?
It is been more than two years now when the first episode of the famous ABC’s TV series titled “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” aired on small screen and since then the series is making news and has become one of the favorite shows followed by the audiences regularly. Now, a news is coming related to a new member joining the star cast of the series to put forward the mission of Nick Fury under which he gave Daisy Johnson’s (Chloe Bennet) a responsibility of making a team of secret warriors by recruiting deserving talents and it seems with Natalia Cordova-Buckley of “McFarland, USA” fame that mission will once again come into picture.
Yes, as revealed by the YouTube channel’s That Hashtag Show and its partner Point Of Geeks, Natalia Cordova-Buckley has joined the series as Yo-Yo Rodriguez -aka Slingshot. The first season as compared with the second one was rocky, may be due to the starting factor. The second season came up with new tone and scale by introducing new agents and Inhumans and in the third season’s first part, the tone has turned to gritty one and showed only Inhuman’s activity. Now, it has been revealed that second part of the third season will bring things on track by showing “Secret Warrior” mission’s plotline.
As far as the role of Slingshot is concerned, the character is all about speed meaning the character can run at superhuman speed just like the Flash and Quicksilver, the other speedsters. But this character has a drawback too, that is she cannot stop anywhere meaning she has to return to the fixed place from where she picked momentum. This speedster is a woman and quite a gorgeous one as per comic picturization, so, we can imagine how the coming episode with Slingshot will look.
So, prepare yourself to witness the power of another new face speedster in the “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” and don’t forget to check this space too for more update on the same. Till then, let us wish the entire star cast and makers together with the new member all the very best.
