Nathan Sykes Reveals That He and Harry Styles Had ‘One Hell of An Embrace’

It looks like The Wanted’s Nathan Sykes has ended his feud with One Direction’s Harry Styles. In fact, Sykes insists that he and Styles never fought at all. The “Glad You Came” hit maker also said that One Direction is ready to go on their separate ways. Read on to learn more about this scoop.

One Direction and The Wanted had a Twitter war in a series of harsh criticisms and mockeries in 2012. Now, The Wanted’s Nathan Sykes revealed that he and One Direction’s Harry Styles have kissed and made up and are even drinking buddies now.

“I was out with Harry in LA recently. To be fair we were both a bit merry, but we had one hell of an embrace,” Nathan Sykes revealed to British newspaper Mirror.

Sykes also insisted that he and the “Steal My Girl” hit maker never shared any bad blood between them and denied his involvement in the Twitter feud between One Direction and The Wanted.

“I never had a problem with any of the 1D boys and never got involved with the Twitter fights, it wasn’t me. I think sometimes you can be a victim of hatred through association,” he said.

In case some of you don’t know, One Direction’s Zayn Malik got into a heated conversation with The Wanted’s Max George in 2012.

According to E! News, it all started when Malik called George “a geek” on his page. After a series of exchanges on twitter to which Malik even called George a “chlamydia boy,” Tom Parker joined in and One Direction member Louis Tomlinson came to their co-member’s defense.

Sykes also voiced out his opinion on rumors that One Direction members like Harry Styles and Zayn Malik are going solo.

He had high praises for One Direction’s last album, and said that he thinks that the boys are ready to go on their separate ways, much like his band “The Wanted” did in 2014.

“You’ve got to do the stuff that you always wanted to do and have fun with it, rather than be 20 per cent of a boy band,” Sykes commented.
