Previously on “NCIS: Los Angeles” (“Fish Out of Water” Season 5 Episode 16 air date: March 4, 2014), a homemade bomb detonated in a market and two people died in the fateful event. Nina (Mercedes Masӧhn), a DEA agent working as an undercover was in the fish market, hoping to bust the Ecuadorian drug trade. She teamed with Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) and joined the group to help solve the case. However, the primary suspect was not an Ecuadorian but a Yemeni citizen related to Al-Qaeda.
The team was able to stop a truck from bombing U.S.S. Iowa. After the shoot out and gas tank explosion, the team managed to capture the bomber alive.
In Afghanistan, Kensi (Daniela Ruah) purposely missed the shot at the White Ghost when she saw her ex-fiancé, Jack.

In a brief preview from Examiner.com, the team faces a new problem as the suspect for killing a federal agent uploads a how-they-did-it video on YouTube. Furthermore, secret agents like Sam (LL Cool J), are now open targets.
Meanwhile, Granger (Miguel Ferrer) is worried about Kensi as she goes MIA (missing in action) in Afghanistan.
