‘NCIS: New Orleans’ Update: Michael Weatherly to Crossover to New Orleans
It seems like the producers of “NCIS” and “NCIS:New Orleans” are keeping their promise with regards to some possible crossovers from the original series to the new spin-off series. Recently, actor Michael Weatherly posted pictures on his Twitter account of himself in a hazmat suit while posing with fellow actor Scott Bakula. Read on to learn more about the “NCIS” update.
According to Enstarz, the producers of “NCIS” and its newest spinoff, “NCIS: New Orleans” teased the fans on a possible crossover with “NCIS” regulars. Last week, according to Michael Weatherly’s Twitter account, actor Lucas Black posted that Weatherly will be joining them the next day on the “NCIS: New Orleans” set.
Weatherly his followers on Twitter if anyone wanted to see pictures of his character in “NCIS,” Special Agent Tony DiNozzo, in the crossover with “NCIS: New Orleans.”
What followed were pictures of him in a hazmat suit, posing with Scott Bakula, who portrays Special Agent Dwayne “King” Pride, the head of the “NCIS: New Orleans” department. The actor went on to post other pictures of himself on the “New Orleans” set, complete with pictures with the show’s make up department and hair department.
This is the first confirmed crossover between the two shows, as the new spin off show just started filming in the last half of July of this year.
Aside from Weatherly’s Tony DiNozzo, the “NCIS” producers have also stated that there might be possible crossovers with Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon), Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette) and Dr. Donald Mallard (David McCallum) on the new spin-off show.
